Amos Fabens2 Whitney (Amos1, son of Amos1 and Sarah (Gordon) Whitney, was born 23 Aug 1820, Portland, ME, and died 2 Jan 1874, Portsmouth, NH, aged 53 years 4 months, of heart disease. He was buried in Old Westview Cemetery, Hampton Falls, NH.[1]
He married, 24 Sep 1847, Mary Olivia Prescott, daughter of Robert Smith and Almira (Melcher) Prescott. She was born 29 Apr 1824, Hampton Falls, NH, and died 2 Apr 1888, aged 64 years. She was buried in Old Westview Cemetery, Hampton Falls, NH.[2]
