He married firstly, 1 Jan 1851, Brookline, VT,[3] Marcia G. Wellman, daughter of De Louis and Laura (Holden) Wellman. She was born 23 May 1829, Brookline, VT, and died 22 Mar 1867, Dummerston, VT.[4]
He married secondly, between 1867 and 1870, Delia D. Pike. She was born about 1840, VT, and died after 1880.
