Charles Wilder⁸ Whitney (Samuel⁷, Silas⁶, Samuel⁵, William⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Samuel⁷ and Abigail (Wilder) Whitney, was born 10 Jan 1814, Ashburnham, MA,^[1] and died 13 Apr 1899, Ashburnham, MA, aged 85 years 3 months 3 days, of senile heart weakness.^[2]

He married, 10 Aug 1848, Ashburnham, MA, Elmira M. (Wilder) Richardson.^[3] She was born about 1823, Cambridge, VT, and died after 1880.

He is a millwright, wheelwright, and stone cutter; resided Ashburnham, MA.
