Charles Tufts Whitney (John Edmond), son of John Edmond and Mary Corbett (Rouse) Whitney, was born Nov 1834, Roxbury, MA, and died 5 Mar 1925.[1]
Intentions of marriage were published 28 Oct 1860, Plympton, MA, for him "of Halifax" and Celestia Maria Ripley "of Plympton".[2] He, of Halifax, married, 29 Oct 1860, Halifax, MA (also recorded Plympton, MA), Celestia Maria Ripley,[3] of Plympton, daughter of Joseph Shurtleff and Maria (Winsor) Ripley. She was born 29 Apr 1842, Bridgewater, MA, and died 5 Mar 1920, Halifax, MA, aged 77 years 10 months 6 days, of arteriosclerosis.[4]
