Charles Henry Whitney (Charles Tufts, John Edmond), son of Charles Tufts and Celestia Maria (Ripley) Whitney, was born 27 Sep 1864, Halifax, MA,[1] and died said 5 Nov 1949, Boston, MA.

He married, 25 Nov 1886, Duxbury, MA, Florence A. Chandler, daughter of Harrison and Abigail (Peterson) Chandler.[2] She was born 23 Sep 1865, Duxbury, MA, and died 6 Jun 1907, Easton, MA, aged 42 years 8 months 15 days, of pleuro-pneumonia.[3]
