(Bemis) Whitney, was born 20 Jan 1847, Ashburnham, MA, and died 30 Apr 1916, Worcester State Hospital, Worcester, MA, aged 69 years 1 day, of septicemia resulting from erysipelas.[1] He was buried in Forest Hills Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA.
He married, 27 Nov 1872, Fitchburg, MA, Mary E. Lowe, daughter of Charles and Louisa J. (-----) Lowe.[2] She was born about 1850, Fitchburg, MA, and died after 1880. They were divorced.
