Sidney Grant8 Whitney (Jesse B.7, John6, Barnabas5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jesse B.7 and Iona Lucinda (Annis) Whitney, was born 4 May 1868, MN, and died 5 May 1955, Rochester, MN.
He married, 25 Jul 1890, Faribault Co., MN, Mary Emeline Rand. She was born 1874, and died 1951.
Mary Emeline Rand was also called Emma. News article: Mr. & Mrs. Whitney were raised in Faribault county. Buried at Chase Cemetery, rural Mapleton, MN. Occupation: farmer. (It is thought that Mary Emeline was 1/4 Sioux Indian.)
