Elijah5 Whitney (Daniel4, John3, John2, John1), son of Daniel4 and Susanna (Curtis) Whitney, was born 15 Jan 1715/6, Roxbury, MA,[1] and died 22 Jun 1792.[2]

Elijah married, 1 Nov 1739, Boston, MA, Hannah Coffin[3]. She was born circa 1715, possibly Boston, MA, and died 30 Jun 1784 in the 70th year of her age.[4]

On 16 May 1756, Roxbury, MA, Hannah Whitney admitted to full communion.[5]

In 1776 he was a member of the Warwick committee of correspondence, inspection and safety.[6]
