Family:Whitney, Elijah (1716-1792)

Elijah⁵ Whitney (Daniel⁴, John³, John², John¹), son of Daniel⁴ and Susanna (Curtis) Whitney, was born 15 Jan 1715/6, Roxbury, MA,^[1] and died 22 Jun 1792.^[2]

Elijah married, 1 Nov 1739, Boston, MA, Hannah Coffin^[3]. She was born circa 1715, possibly Boston, MA, and died 30 Jun 1784 in the 70th year of her age.^[4]

On 16 May 1756, Roxbury, MA, Hannah Whitney admitted to full communion.^[5]

In 1776 he was a member of the Warwick committee of correspondence, inspection and safety.^[6]
