Samuel Vincent8 Whitney (Samuel7, Silas6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Samuel7 and Abigail (Wilder) Whitney, was born 25 May 1820, Ashburnham, MA,[1] and died 3 Jul 1856, Ashburnham, MA, aged 36 years, of consumption.[2]
He married, 31 Jan 1843, Ashburnham, MA, Sarah Ann Russell,[3] daughter of William and Alona (Lawrence) Russell. She was born 29 Jul 1824, Ashburnham, MA, and died 9 Apr 1875, Ashburnham, MA, aged 50 years 8 months 12 days, of consumption.[4]
He was postmaster for some years and engaged in the morocco business; resided Ashburnham, MA.
