She married 30 October 1936, Alexander, Genesee Co., New York, Harry Donald Mayer, son of Charles J. and Jennie Elizabeth (Peters) Mayer. He was born 16 December 1916, Attica, Wyoming Co., New York, and died 5 February 1978, Warsaw, Wyoming Co., New York.
Attica: Harry D. Mayer, 70, of 3914 East Main St., died at 4:10 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 5, 1978) at Wyoming Community Hospital, Warsaw, where he had been a patient for one week.
Mr. Mayer was born in Attica, Dec. 16, 1907, a son of Charles and Jennie Peters Mayer. A farm operator preceding his retirement, he was a member of Attica Center Baptist Church and Citizens Lodge 309, IOOF.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Spring Mayer; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Joanne) Janes of Castile and Mrs. Timothy (Beverly) Burke of Buffalo; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and three brothers, Edward of Sun City, Fla., Ward of Arcade and Gordon of Attica. He was the father of the late Judith Mayer.
