Family:Whitney, Otis Charles (1801-1877)

Otis Charles⁸ Whitney (Otis⁷, Solomon⁶, Solomon⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Otis⁷ and Sarah (Taylor) Whitney, was born 26 Sep 1801, Campton, NH,^[1] and died 11 Sep 1877, Boston, MA, aged 67 years, of heart disease, carpenter, son of Otis and Sarah, b. NH.^[2]

He married, before 1836, Mary Frances Derby, daughter of Loring and Eliza (Ditson) Derby. She was born about 1818, Cambridge, MA, and died 5 Nov 1871, Boston, MA, aged 43 years, of apoplexy.^[3]

In 1854 he lived at Bridge Ct., Boston, MA.
