Capt. Silas7 Whitney (Silas6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Silas6 and Sarah (Withington) Whitney; born 1 Oct 1779, and died 4 Sep 1846, Ashburnham, MA, aged 66 years 11 months 5 days, of dysentery.[1]

He married, 31 Dec 1801, Ashburnham, MA, Hannah Cushing.[2] She was born 9 Jun 1783, Hingham, MA, and died 5 Mar 1854, Ashburnham, MA, aged 65 years 7 months 5 days, of injury to skull, hemorrhage in brain.[3]
