He married, 21 Apr 1836, Macomb, MI, Ann Stroup, daughter of George and Susanna (Riegel) Stroup. She was born 5 Mar 1819, Fayette, NY. and died 2 Jan 1901, Clinton, MI. She was buried in Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton, MI.[2]
