Valentine Trumpbour7 Whitney (James6, Ezekiel5, James4, Henry3, John2, Henry1), son of James6 and Sarah (Trumpbour) Whitney, was born 22 Dec 1814, Catskill, Delaware Co., NY, and died 30 Aug 1885, Saugerties, NY, aged 71 years. He was buried in Asbury Methodist Cemetery, Saugerties, NY.[1]
He married, Sarah Catharine Schoonmaker, daughter of David and Jennie (Van Louven) Schoonmaker. She was born 8 Jan 1811, NY, and died 6 Feb 1887, Saugerties, NY, aged 76 years 29 days. She was buried in Asbury Methodist Cemetery, Saugerties, NY.[2]
