Family:Whitney, James Emmet (1847-1908)

James Emmet⁹ Whitney, (Alanson⁸, [prob.] Jared⁷, [prob.] John⁶, Joshua⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Alanson⁸ and Almira (Cool) Whitney, was born 22 May 1847, IN, and died 2 Feb 1908. He was buried in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven, IN.^[1]

He married, 1874, Mary C. Wilson. She was born about 1850, NY, and died 3 Mar 1912. She was buried in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven, IN.^[2]
