He married 3 Feb 1831, Methuen, MA,[1] Sarah Tarbox, daughter of James Tarbox. She was born about 1804, NH, and died after 1870.

They lived in Methuen and Fitchburg, MA, and Hudson, NH.

He was a farmer.
