J. Wesley7 Whitney (Sewell Pitt6, Barnabas5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Sewell Pitt6 and Annie (Tuttle) Whitney, was born 4 Jul 1840, Freeman, ME, and died 20 May 1893, prob. Temple, ME. He "Wesley" was buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Farmington, ME.[1]

He married 1 Aug 1861, Freeman, ME, Ann Augusta Furbish,[2] daughter of Abraham and Nancy (Peterson) Furbish. She was born 12 Jul 1842, Freeman, ME, and died 14 Jun 1921. She was buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Farmington, ME.[3]
