Samuel Eseck Whitney (Eseck, George), son of Eseck and Phebe (Jenks) Whitney, was born 8 Nov 1837, Schroon, NY, and died 31 Jul 1908, Oklahoma City, OK.

He married, circa 1870, Eldora, IA, Jane Ellen Bird, daughter of Henry and Mary (-----) Bird. She was born Apr 1845, PA, and died 1906, Oklahoma City, OK.
