Samuel Frost⁷ Whitney (Richard⁶, Simon⁵, Daniel⁴, Benjamin³, John², John¹), son of Richard⁶ and Mary Elizabeth (Parker) Whitney, was born 18 Jul 1819, Amherst, MA, and died 23 Jun 1900, Springfield, MA, or Northampton, MA, aged 81 years, of senility.^[1]

He married, 30 Mar 1848, Amherst, MA, also recorded Guilford, VT, Zerviola A. Belding,^[2] daughter of Chester and Polly (Allis) Belding. She was born 12 Aug 1819, Whately, MA, and died 2 Jun 1895, Springfield, MA, aged 73, of heart disease.^[3]

He resided Emery St., Springfield, MA.
