Solomon Weeks8 Whitney (Leonard7, Ezekiel6, Ezekiel5, John4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Leonard7 and Ruth Richardson (Larrabee) Whitney, was born 4 Sep 1826,[1] Sudbury, MA, and died 2 Sep 1882, Wakefield, MA, aged 57 years, of paralysis.[2]

He married, 14 Feb 1848, Waltham, MA, Mary Jane Mansir, daughter of Charles Granville and Elizabeth (Lambert) Mansir. She was born 6 Aug 1829, Charlestown, MA, and died 1905, San Diego, CA.[3]

i. Ellsworth Weeks9 Whitney, b. 1 Jul 1849, Waltham, MA;[4] d. 1925, San Diego, CA; m. Julia E. York.
ii. Mary E. Whitney, b. 11 Aug 1850, Watertown, MA;[5] d. 7 Aug 1868, Boston, MA, aged 18 years, of dysentery;[6] in family of Joseph and Eliza (Smith) Barker in Watertown in 1860.
iii. Leonard Whitney, b. 13 Mar 1853, Watertown, MA;[7] d. 25 Oct 1854, Watertown, MA, aged 1 year.[8]
