John7 Whitney (Henry6, John5, Abraham4, Joseph3, John2, Henry1), son of Henry6 and Lucy (Grumman) Whitney, was born 10 Aug 1833, Shelby, OH, and died 1905, Lansing, MI.

He married, 16 Dec 1854, Richland Co., OH, widow Elizabeth (-----) Elderton, who had two children. She was born about 1831, OH, and died after 1880. She had married firstly, ----- Elderton, of whom nothing is known.

He was a dealer in real estate; lived at Jackson, MI, and Lansing, MI.
