He married firstly, 4 Jul 1875, Seneca Co., OH, Sarah Salinda Kinsey, daughter of Joseph J. and Rebecca (Zinn) Kinsey. She was born about 1860, OH, and died Mar 1889. She was buried in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria, OH.[2]
He married secondly, 24 Dec 1889, Montgomery Co., OH, Rosa Ann Baker, daughter of Griffin and Rebecca Jane (James) Baker. She was born Nov 1862, Clinton Co., OH, and died 7 Mar 1932, New Carlisle, OH, aged 69 years 3 months 27 days, of chronic myocarditis. She was buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City, OH.[3]
