Thomas7 Whitney (Francis6, Jonathan5, Matthias4, Cornelius3, Joshua2, John1), son of Francis6 and Hannah (Edwards) Whitney, was born 21 Jul 1830, Delaware Co., OH, and died 16 Apr 1908, Butler Co., KS. He was buried in Douglass Cemetery, Douglass, KS.[1]

He married firstly, 14 Dec 1851, Whitley Co., IN, Elizabeth Komp,[2] daughter of Henry and Margaret Elisabeth (Deetz) Komp. She was born 17 Jan 1833, and died 22 Dec 1854. She was buried in Stough Cemetery, Columbia City, IN.[3]

He married secondly, 22 Jul 1858, Whitley Co., IN, Rosanna (Sine) Blakely,[4] daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth (Dye) Sine. She was born 20 Oct 1830, IN, and died 13 Feb 1906, Butler Co., KS. She was buried in Douglass Cemetery, Douglass, KS.[5] She had married firstly, 18 Feb 1849, Whitley Co., IN, John Blakely.[6]
