William Benonia Whitney (John), son of John and Rebecca (Blodgett) Whitney, was born about 1813, Elba, NY, and died 7 Jan 1858, Adrian, MI, aged 44 years. He was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Adrian, MI.[1]
He married Abigail Merrick, daughter of Joseph and Sarah (Harriman) Merrick. She was born 25 May 1813, Salisbury, MA, and died 6 Oct 1901, San Francisco, CA.
