Merritt Austin Whitney (Calvin F., Calvin), was born 20 March 1848, Rockport, Knox Co., Maine, and died 22 April 1917, Rockport, Knox Co., Maine.

He married, 1883?, Cora Ella Hewett, daughter of Henry Orlando & Elvira (Achorn) Hewett. She was born 21 May 1858, Rockport, Knox Co., Maine, and died 25 Nov 1933, Rockport, Knox, Maine.
