Martin8 Whitney (Simei7, Samuel6, Samuel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Simei7 and Silence (Tucker) Whitney, was born 16 Aug 1810,[1] and died 20 Jan 1887, Cambridge, MA, aged 76 years 5 months 4 days, of an accidental fall, baker.[2]

He married, 3 Apr 1833, Electa Buell, daughter of Daniel and Electa (Ransom) Buell, of Wilmington. She was born 31 Jan 1813, Wilmington, VT,[3] and died 19 Jul 1887, Cambridge, MA, aged 74 years 5 months 19 days, of apoplexy.[4]

He resided Cambridgeport, MA.
