Benjamin P.8 Whitney (William7, Samuel6, Abner5, John4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of William7 and Olive (Parlin) Whitney, was born 3 Oct 1834, Corinth, ME, and died after 1884.
He married firstly, 9 Apr 1865, Sarah M. McMurray. She was born about 1848, IA, and died after 1872.
He married secondly, Oct 1877, Martha Long. She was born about 1833, MO, and died after 1880.
He is a blacksmith; resided Los Alamos, CA.
