He married, firstly, an unknown woman. She apparently died between 1841 and 1848.
He married, secondly, 1 Apr 1848, Harrodsburg, KY, Tabitha (Lamme) Boyle, daughter of ----- and Jane (Tilford) Lamme. She was born circa 1821, KY, and died after 1856. She had previously been married to John Weir Boyle, son of Chief Justice Boyle. They had resided in Mercer Co., KY. They had children Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Boyle, b. 5 Nov 1843; John Weir Boyle, b. Mar 1846, d. 12 Aug 1864.
