He married firstly, 28 Apr 1887, St. Paul, MN, Luella Belle Petty.[2] She died 23 Nov 1888.

He married secondly, 11 Jan 1898, Hennepin Co., MN, Lillian Ann (Bottineau) Nichols,[3] daughter of John B. and Mary (-----) Bottineau. She was born Jun 1866, MN, and died 30 Dec 1948, Hennepin Co., MN. She was buried in Crystal Lake Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.[4] She had married firstly, 24 Sep 1885, Minneapolis, MN, Florence Clinton Nichols,[5] son of Hiram and Lucy M. (Thurston) Nichols.
