John8 Whitney (Joseph Glazier7, Abner6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Joseph Glazier7 and Levina (Dunn) Whitney, was born 12 Sep 1806,[1] Ashburnham, MA, and died 4 May 1873, Westminster, MA, aged 66 years 7 months 23 days, of paralysis.[2]

Marriage intentions were published 5 May 1832, Westminster, MA, for him "2d" and Eliza Cushing "of Ashburnham".[3] He "of Westminster" married 9 May 1832, Ashburnham, MA, Eliza Cushing.[4] She was born 18 Apr 1815,[5] Boston or Dorchester, MA, and died 1 Sep 1882, Ashburnham, MA, aged 66 years, or 67 years 4 months 13 days, of dysentery.[6]

John Whitney, son of Joseph G. and Lavina (Dunn) Whitney. He resided some years in Westminster and subsequently in Ashburnham, where he was a pioneer manufacturer of chairs. In his daily life and in business he ignored contention and enjoyed the rewards of peace and honorable conduct. He resided Westminster and Ashburnham, MA.
