He married, 28 Feb 1866, Burlington, VT, Rhoda Phelps. She was born 7 Oct 1842, and died between 1880 and 1900.

He married secondly before 1900, Annie G. -----. She was born 1857, MA.

He married thirdly, between 1900 and 1910, Charlotte A. -----. She was born 1857, NS, and died after 1934.

He was a contractor, builder, carpenter, joiner, and cabinetmaker; resided Burlington, VT, 86 Grant St., 37 Grant St., 4 Grant St., 182 Main St., and 104 So. Winooski Ave.
