Albert⁸ Whitney (George⁷, Abel⁶, Benjamin⁵, Joseph⁴, Joseph³, Jonathan², John¹), son of George⁷ and Arethusa (Gates) Whitney, was born 21 Mar 1840, Tunbridge, VT,^[1] and died after 1900.

He married, 14 Sep 1865, Tunbridge, VT, Ann M. Hackett.^[2] She was born 24 Jun 1843, and died after 1900.

He resided North Tunbridge, VT.

i.	Minnie A.9 Whitney, b. 19 Aug 1866, Tunbridge, VT;[3] m. 22 Jan 1889, Frank T. Folsome; resided Randolph, VT.
ii.	Orlando B. Whitney, b. 28 Mar 1870, Tunbridge, VT;[4] "Ollie B." d. 4 Jun 1874, Lowell, MA, aged 4 years 2 months 7 days, of diphtheria.[5]
iii.	Sadie A. Whitney, b. 5 Apr 1878; resided North Tunbridge; m. 20 Jun 1903, VT, Martin Tuller.
