He married firstly, after 1900, ----- -----. She is known only from the fact that the 1910 census says that Elizabeth was his second wife.
He married secondly, 28 Oct 1903, Rochester, NY, Elizabeth A. Filer, daughter of Emelio Frederick and Mary J. (Ferguson) Filer. She was born Aug 1875, Canada, and died 22 Apr 1917, Rochester, NY.
She was listed in the city directory of Rochester, NY, in 1915, widow of Charles E. Whitney, boarding at 100-1/2 Clarissa.
