He married firstly, about 1846, Martha Jane Braley. She died about 1850, Kirkland, ME.

He married secondly, 17 Mar 1860, Jackson Co., MI, Ann C. Saunt, daughter of Thomas and Mary (West) Saunt. She was born Mar 1843, England.
