Edward8 Whitney (Eleazer7, Ebenezer6, Samuel5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Eleazer7, was born 17 Mar 1810, Dearborn, ME, and died 1 Aug 1897, Hartland, ME, aged 87 years 4 months 5 days. He was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Hartland, ME.[1]

He married, about 1835, Annie Holdsworth Knox, daughter of Stephen and Aussie/Annie (Hanson) Knox. She was born about 4 Oct 1815, Lebanon, NH, or Oakland, ME, or Palmyra, ME, and died 15 Oct 1897, Hartland, ME, aged 82 years 11 days. She was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Hartland, ME.[2]
