George Horace9 Whitney (George T.8, Humphrey7, Jonathan6, (prob.) Jonathan5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of George T.8 and Mary (Darling) Whitney, was born 1 Apr 1843, Hudson, ME, and died 14 Nov 1898, Pittsfield, ME.
He married, 19 Aug 1869, Bangor, ME, Emma L. Holmes, "both of Hudson",[1] daughter of Shephard Holmes. She was born Mar 1853, Hancock, ME, and died after 1 Oct 1923. She married secondly, Mar 1905, Pittsfield, ME, Horace Maxim.
