Family:Whitney, Ezra (1781-1863)

Ezra⁷ Whitney (John⁶, James⁵, James⁴, John³, Jonathan², John¹), son of John⁶ and Hannah (Holbrook) Whitney, was born 8 Aug 1781, Sherborn, MA,^[1] and died said 1863, but not found in 1860 census.

Marriage intentions were published 26 Oct 1807, Weston, MA, for him "Jr." and Sarah F. Slack.^[2] Marriage intentions were published 29 Oct 1807, Brookline, for him "Jun." and Sarah F. Slack "of Weston".^[3] He "Jr." "of Boston" married firstly, 13 Dec 1807, Weston, MA, Sarah Fuller Slack,^[4] daughter of John and Mary (Fuller) Slack. She was born about 1779, and died 28 Jan 1843. Sarah F. Whitney, wife of Ezra, was baptized 26 Apr 1812, Weston, MA [adult], and at the same time was admitted to the church.^[5]

He married secondly, between 1843 and 1850, Mary Noble Allen. She was born about 1792, NH, and died after 1860.

He resided Boston MA, and Meddybemps, ME.
