Villeroy Glover7 Whitney (Josiah Clark6, Josiah5, Henry4, Josiah3, John2, Henry1), son of Josiah Clark6 and Esther Eunice (Mosier) Whitney, was born 12 Aug 1828, Newtown, CT, and died after 1910.
He married, 12 Jul 1852, New York, NY, Maria A. Murphy, daughter of ----- and Margaret (Kerrigan) Murphy. She was born about 1835, NY, and died after 1910.
Phoenix says the following:
- ". . . a sail-maker . . . . They dwelt at New York for several years; and then moved to Bridgeport, where (or in East Bridgeport, Conn.) they were living in May 1873."
