Amos Whitney, parentage unknown, was born about 1840, CT, and died after 1880.
He married, 8 Feb 1862, Goshen, CT, Harriet Wheeler,[1] daughter of Samuel and Thirza (Howe) Wheeler. She was born about 1843, probably Cornwall, CT, and died between 1870 and 1880.
Children of Amos and Harriet (Wheeler) Whitney:
i. George Whitney, b. Nov 1863, Riverton, CT; m. Harriet Moore Scott. ii. Edwin Whitney, b. ca. 1866, CT. iii. Samuel Whitney, b. ca. 1868, CT.
