Alice Evelyn8 Whitney (Oliver7, Milton6, Asa5, Joshua4, William3, Joshua2, John1), daughter of Oliver Walcot7 and Esther (Rising) Whitney, was born 19 Jul 1849, Pittsfield, MA,[1] and died 27 Nov 1910.

She married, 5 May 1875, Des Moines IA, James Patton Clarke, son of Robert William and Caroline (King) Clarke. He was born 25 Feb 1845, Blairsville PA, and died 6 Oct 1906, Johnstown PA.

Children of John Patton and Alice8 (Whitney) Clarke:
