Franklin8 Whitney (Silas Stacy7, Hananiah6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Silas Stacy7 and Mary Bryant (Cate) Whitney, was born 22 Mar 1850, Center Harbor, NH,[1] and died 17 Aug 1912, Los Angeles County, CA.
He married, 13 Sep 1872, Elgin, IL, Mary Jane Stevenson. She was born 12 Sep 1854, and died after 1910.
He married secondly, 25 Aug 1911, Los Angeles, CA, Mary Adelaide (Wheeler) Ellis, daughter of Joseph C. and Mary V. (Stocker) Wheeler. She was born about 1854.
His life began in 1850, in Center Harbor, NH; moved to Pittsfield, NH, about 1852; thence to Chicago, 1856. He lived in Evanston two years, then back to Chicago, going to school.
