George W. Whitney, parentage unknown, was born about 1792, NY, and died 4 Nov 1847, New York, NY, aged 55 years.[1]
He married, 14 Apr 1819, New York, NY, Electa Mesnard,[2] daughter of John and Mary (Knapp) Mesnard. She was born about 1794, Greenwich, CT.
He resided at 45 Chatham St., New York, at death.
Children of George W. and Electa (Mesnard) Whitney, probably incomplete:
i. George Whitney, b. ca. 1822, NY; m. Ella (Edwards) Wooten.
