He married firstly, Sally Dewey, daughter of Thaddeus and Anne (Noble) Dewey. She was born 1792 and died 23 Aug 1848. She was buried in Otis Cemetery, Fort Ann, NY.[3]

He married secondly, 23 Aug 1849, Rebecca Beckwith Otis. She was born 3 Jun 1820, Washington Co., NY, and died 3 Nov 1902, Granville, NY. She was buried in Otis Cemetery, Fort Ann, NY.[4]

He was a farmer; was a soldier in the war of 1812. He resided West Granville, NY.
