Notes

According to a post by Barbara Black, Aaron Whitney had a first wife named Sarah Bennett of Mina, NY. However, this is unsubstantiated and if daughter Electa was named after her mother, and was b. 1824, she had to have been one of the first children born in this family, and thus Electa would have to have been the first wife.
