Hiram 7 Whitney (Aaron6, Benjamin5, Joshua4, Cornelius3, Joshua2, John1), son of Aaron6 and Electa (Leach) Whitney, was born 4 Apr 1830, Mina, Chautauqua Co., NY, and died 1 Dec 1915, Mina, Chautauqua Co., NY.
He married, perhaps firstly, 3 Apr 1849, Emily Aurelia Jackson, daughter of Isaac and Sally B. (Bell) Jackson. She was born about 1828, West Bloomfield, NY, and died 4 Jul 1852.
He allegedly married secondly, before 1850, Sarah E. Jackson, daughter of Isaac and Sally B. (Bell) Jackson. She was born about 1832, NY. This marriage is deduced from the 1850 census.
Children of Hiram7 and Emily Aurelia (Jackson) Whitney:
i. Carolyn8 Whitney, b. ca. Nov 1852, Mina, NY; "Caddie"; d. after 1920; m. ca. 1881, Fayette Morton.
