George Schoonmaker7 Whitney (Valentine Trumpbour7, James6, Ezekiel5, James4, Henry3, John2, Henry1), son of Valentine Trumpbour7 and Sarah Catherine (Schoonmaker) Whitney, was born 28 Apr 1839, Catskill, Greene Co., NY.
He married, 5 Nov 1859, Katsbaan, NY, Sarah Catharine Saxe, daughter of Paul I. and Margaret (Dederick) Saxe. She was born 6 Jun 1838, Katsbaan, NY, and died 8 Jul 1914, Palenville, NY.
He was a quarryman. They dwelt at Caatsbaan for two and a half years; at Quarryville, NY, two years; at Catskill, NY, two and a half years; and then moved to High Falls, NY, where, after eight and a half years, they were still living in Apr 1875.
