He married, before, 1880, Julia Tillinghast, daughter of Jedediah and Mary J. (Kinne) Tillinghast. She was born 1849, NY, and died 1930. She was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer, NY.^[2]

He was called "Noah" in 1850, and "Maria", a female, in 1860.
