I am the founder of the The Tuesday Group which is a culinary social group that gets together at various restaurants to have fun. At various stages in my life I have been a professional chef, and enjoy spending time in kitchens, restaurants and wineries. In the Rotary world I have been a Rotary Youth Exchange student, and a Cultural Scholar sponsored by Rotary District 2090 in Perugia, Italy. As a Rotarian I have been a member of the Rotary Club of Fair Oaks for over 15 years. I was elected to be the club president in Rotary year 2005-2006. I am Past Chair of the District Foundation Scholarship Committee. I am one of the original founders of the Interact Club at Bella Vista High School. I am also a past co-counselor for the Rotary Center for International Studies in Peace and Conflict Resolution at the University of California at Berkeley, and I am Past District 5180 Peace Scholar Chair. The International Fellowship of Digital Technology Rotarians is an organization that I founded to help put affordable Internet access in the hands of everybody.
