He married firstly, 15 Sep 1868, Mary P. Dunham, parentage unknown. She was born about 1849, NY, and died 12 May 1878, Saint Lawrence Co., NY.

He married secondly, before 1880, Louisa A. Church, parentage unknown. She was born 14 Apr 1853, Syracuse, NY, and died 13 Feb 1915, Albany, NY.

The 1897 Syracuse city directory says:
